I am working on a Dave Smith Morley PFL that was purchased off E-Bay from Britain &amp; is 220V.  I have a step up xformer &amp; have  proven the PFL is
functioning fine.

I need to convert this to 115v for the customer.  I have found a source for the transformers, but they are a bit different physically.  As you know the space
in there is pretty tight.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello, I&#39;ve recently purchased a Morley EDL off of ebay, described as in not working condition.  When i got it, i messed with it and actually got it to
work. the motor just needed a lil&#39; jump start to spin. my only real problem was that the shaft to the Delay control was completely seized up. i used my
pliers to twist it,to change the delay time, and that worked, except that the spring/string system was super tight, and i ended up snaping the string.  i was

			<description><![CDATA[ So I&#39;ve got my Gibson running, finally.  Now, I get a sound like a drum hit the gradually fades away as well as the regular echo.  I tried adding more oil,
that seemed to change the overall sound to where it&#39;s more like a tremolo than a delay/echo, but the &#39;hit&#39; remains.  I can reduce it to some extent
by turning down the volume on the guitar, but that&#39;s not a real solution.  I suspect that a component value drift in the preamp is causing too much of a

a) The RCA jacks in the chassis are really  bad metal, the solder tab just about fell off of one, and the remaining ones barely put any pressure on the plug. 
Bad connections, for sure.  Not easy to replace, &#39;cause Gibson used a three on a card setup, but worth the effort of a good kludge, or hunting out a new
three-on-a-card.  I used a kludge mad of three top-quality hi-fi jacks from an electronics store.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I ordered some oil, which arrived quite promptly.  I opened the can, which was quite clean inside, and found thick, amber oil.  The can didn&#39;t want to come
off of the base, and as  I was reluctant to risk damage, I simply filled the can half full of denatured alcohol and shook it vigorously a few times.  When the
alcohol came out clean, I dried out the assembly and added new oil.
